Dave Stewart has organised short and long term 4WD trips for the Toyota Land Cruiser Club (Victoria) in Australia, private trips and trips for the RainForest Challenge 4x4 club in Malaysia. He was also Media Convoy Manager for 2004 Malaysian International Rainforest Challenge. He has competed in and assisted in organising 4WD competitions for both beginners and hardcore 4WD enthusiasts as well as been a trainer for train & drive courses in Australia. A keen sportsman, Dave is also a mountain biker, having participated in the gruelling Simpson Desert Cycle Race for six years running as a competitor, official photographer and support. He has also competed in the gruelling Nenggiri Whitewater Rafting Challenge. As an IT expert, Dave is responsible for building and maintaining Jungle Geckos' website. A pioneer riverboarder in Malaysia, Dave can also be found cruising the rivers on riverboards looking for that ultimate rapid or waterfalls or relaxing by one of the many fishing spots in inland Malaysia.
Joycelyn Lee has been a journalist for the past 14 years, specialising in business, economic and corporate reporting over the past nine years. She also has extensive experience as a freelance writer, copywriter and corporate communications consultant over the past 10 years, working with local and international agencies in advertising and branding campaigns on products ranging from insurance to pharmaceuticals to fast moving consumer products. She has also consulted on, formulated and organised media training programmes for public and private companies on a freelance basis.
Derrick Lee is the group's fishing resource, resident water baby and a keen riverboarder. Also known as Aquaboy, he has personal knowledge of most of the best fishing areas and whitewater rapids in Malaysia.
