Catering

Jungle Geckos offers a fully catered for food service. All you do is decide what culinary delights you want and we will serve it up for you. However there is a limits for what we can cater for.

The Jungle Geckos rates are available on application as the rates vary depending on the length of trip.

Meals: Jungle Geckos will cater for 3 catering levels:

An example of the levels of catering (bush tucker) are as follows:

Chicken cooked in a kettle oven with spices and herbs from Malaysia to give that asian flavor.
Steak cooked over an open flame.
Fish cooked in either foil or Malay styled with the scales still on the fish.
Vegtables cooked in foil with mixes of capsicum, mushrooms onions all with herbs and spices.
Fried rice thai or chinese styled.
Afternoon tea consisting of tea/coffee or as per clients request.
Multiple course evening meal according to clients tastes. Alcohol if required will be at clients cost.

Of course we have noodles (two minute (Maggi Mee in Malaysia) but since we do not have it at home we do not cook it in the Jungle.

BBQ Food

Hot coffee/tea and breakfast,
Late morning break of hot coffee/tea
A simple, high-energy lunch
Afternoon tea
Evening meal

Steamboat Food

Hot coffee/tea and cooked breakfast according to request.
Morning tea of hot coffee/tea
Lunch consisting of clients request.
Afternoon tea consisting of tea/coffee.
Evening meal consisting of clients request.

Multiple course evening meal according to clients tastes. Alcohol if required will be at clients cost.

BBQ Food

Coolers will be provided for all levels of catering. Where possible we will cook over a wood fire, but due to the inclemant weather we may have to resort to cooking under the Tarpolin some nites.

Nature also takes over a meal times and we may find meal time interupted by still extracting ourselves from a mudhole or up a near impossible incline - nature rules in the jungle not us.

We have both local chefs and our intrepid company owners are also very good cooks.
