It was a meeting of minds that thought alike. One evening at a Rainforest Challenge Club event, we started talking. Evening became night. Many more conversations followed. We then began organising a few trips for the RFC Club. In each other, we had discovered a mutual love for the great outdoors and an interest in the adventure industry.
At a subsequent dinner, we discussed the shortcomings in the adventure industry and decided that it was time to do what we loved. We realised that what we did for fun was also a good way to bond; camaraderie and teamwork were the necessary ingredients to us enjoying our jungle adventures and key to our returning home safely. Realising that teamwork is the key to a successful organisation, we pooled our resources and myriad experiences - and Jungle Geckos was born.
